Seasonal Farm Laborer Temporary- (Hunter Plant) - #105452
General Purpose
This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Hunter Research Farm.
Responsibilities
- Daily operation and maintenance of the sprinkler systems.
- Field duties include the daily operation and maintenance of the farm equipment that is used in the production of the crops.
- This involves operating equipment to prepare, plant, spray and harvest the crops.
- Equipment involved is tractors, swathers, sprayers, balers, hay wagons, combines and other smaller farm implements.
- Repairs to the equipment are performed and might include mechanical repairs on engines and structure, welding, or other simple repairs or part replacement.
- Other duties include the general cleanup, construction and maintenance of company property or facilities associated with the research farms as instructed by the Manager of Research Farms
Requirements
- Must have a High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift over 75 lbs
